Kevin was born in Anaconda, MT on January 11, 1966 to David and Carol Bock. Kevin and his parents moved to Helena in 1968. His brother Brian was born in 1974. Brian immediately became Kevin’s little tag along.
Kevin attended grade school in Helena and graduated from Capital High.
After graduation he joined the National Guard for a short time before going into the Air Force. Kevin was stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT for several years. While at Malmstrom his 2 children were born, Joshua in 1988 and Melanie in 1992. Kevin departed from the Air Force in Eielson AFB, Alaska in 2004. He returned to Helena and went to work at the Montana Department of Revenue. Kevin took great pleasure in attending all of his children’s sporting events and school activities, cheering them on from the sidelines and offering his suggestions from the sidelines needed or not. Kevin felt his children were the greatest achievement of his life. When his children entered college and were on their own he became involved in MEA/MFT. He enjoyed traveling, working, and most importantly all the people he met in his time with the union.
Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Emmett and Bernice Bock.
Kevin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua & Kayla, his daughter Melanie and her fiance Drew, his parents David and Carol, brother and sister-in-law Brian and Traci, niece and nephew, Alisa and Brice, Layne Pearson whom he helped raise and his grandmother Elizabeth Hemen. He is also survived by cherished aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.
Donations can be made to any charity of donors’ choice.

To Dave, Carol, Brian, Joshua, and Melanie,
My sincere condolences for your loss. I have many fond memories of Kevin and the visits my family had with yours when Kevin and I were young. Although I have not kept in touch over the years, I will always remember my Dad teasing Kevin about “Montana Mush”… He will be missed.

Melanie,
So very sad to head about your dad. Always enjoyed talking with him when you and Brooke were involved in sports together and later to catch up on your latest adventures. He was one of the proudest parents that we know. We hope that you find comfort knowing that he is still with you in so many ways. Our prayers are with you and the rest of your family.
