Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants – Psalm 116:15
Margaret Hill January 19, 1927 – June 21, 2016
On Tuesday June 21, Margaret’s suffering ceased and she passed to the next life with family & friends by her side.
Margaret was born in Watford England to William and Lillian Thompson in 1927. As a young girl in England during WWII she survived German bombing raids & endured many struggles throughout her long life with honor.
Margaret made her way from England to Canada to the US where she settled in MT City, MT with her husband Roland in the 70’s.
Margaret’s true joy in life came from giving of herself to people and animals alike. She worked as a veterinary assistant in Vancouver, BC and a home living assistant in Montana. It is rare in this life to meet such a kind and caring soul and those of us close to Margaret are truly privileged for having known her. An outstanding and devoted member of the Catholic faith Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Ann Thompson, siblings unknown, Husband Roland Hill, Daughter Donna Barker & granddaughter Jolene Siewert.
She is survived by her Brother Leslie & Irene Thompson, sons David & Linda Shaw, Berry & Terry Shaw, and daughter Darlene & Keith Siewert, grandchildren include Jason & Tracy Siewert, Jacob & Denise Siewert, Jenni & Guy Sperry, Jaimie Shaw, Jennifer & Donovan Slorian, Georadn Shaw, Tammy & Louis McIvor, Kyle & Roger Barker, and Kevin, Krissy & Kenny Shaw.

I had some great conversations with Margaret. So enjoyed her stories. We liked a lot of the same things. Going for rides, history, animals and ice cream! Until we meet again Margaret!

Margaret was a wonderful caregiver to my parents Gerald and Edythe Ross , in their later years. She was trustworthy and caring. I think God for bringing her to our family when we needed someone.
So sorry to hear of her passing. She was a blessing.
