On May 28, 2012, Matthew Hayes Geske, 46, of Helena, MT, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dying of natural causes on Memorial Day, Matt left behind his dearly beloved wife, Lynnette Bunk Geske.
Matt was born to Larry and Sandy Geske on January 13, 1966, in Aurora, IL, and grew up in Great Falls, MT. Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Matt, a Database Administrator for the Office of Public Instruction, worked in the same office alongside his wife and best friend, Lynnette, whom he married on September 8, 2005. Matt enjoyed the work he did at OPI and the friendships he had there. Family activities brought great pleasure to Matt along with golf, fishing, cribbage, playing guitar, barbequing, and he received joy from friendship with their 12 pet birds.
Surviving Matt are his wife, Lynnette; father, Larry Geske of Great Falls; brother, Mike Geske currently working in Saudi Arabia; Lynnette’s son, Jeryl Anderson and one granddaughter, Brielle both of Helena. Sandy Geske, Matt’s mother, preceded him in death in 2008.

Geske Family, I had the pleasure of working with Matt and becoming friends with him. I have many fond memories of him, especially our road trip around the state for Annual Data Collection training, where we got to know each other better, and I realized he was not going to let me drive. :o) My face hurt from laughing and smiling so much on that trip.
