Michael Kent Enderes was born on May 22, 1961, the son of Kent John Enderes and Geraldine Alice (Walker) Davis in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Mike spent his early years growing up in Hiawatha, IA with his sister Kelly and brother Jeff. He attended Hiawatha Elementary and Harding Jr. High School until December 1976, when his mom and stepdad moved him and his siblings to Conneaut, OH. After a couple years there he moved to Montana to live with his Dad, where he graduated from Bozeman High School in 1980.
Mike married Robin French on March 14, 1981, with whom he had 2 children, daughter Dawn and son Nick. Mike and Robin moved to Belmont, CA in 1985 until their divorce.
Mike then married Karen Bowman in Reno, NV on July 31, 1988, to whom he was married to for 23 years. Mike and Karen lived in Redwood City, CA for most of their marriage, raising his stepson Adam, until their divorce in 2011.
Mike married Christine Chiginsky on February 24, 2014, in Reno, NV.
While living in California, Mike enjoyed deep sea fishing, bird hunting, playing softball & roller hockey, entering the Chili Cook off contest with his buddies held every summer, with some of the best and hottest chili. Other things Mike enjoyed was watching his favorite football teams the 49ers and the SF Giants. From a young age Mike had fun shooting guns and training dogs with his dad. Mike’s dad and Grandpa Enderes bought him his 1st gun at the ripe old age of 5, and gun safety was at the forefront of owning one. Mike liked a good joke, had a great laugh, and loved spending time with his family.
Mike’s proudest accomplishment was to have served on the police department.
Mike retired from UPS after 25 years of service, he also serviced the people of South San Francisco as a police officer from 1999 to 2015.
After his retirement from UPS and the police department Mike and Chris move back to his beloved state of Montana to be closer to his children and three grandchildren.
Mike also enjoyed hanging out at his favorite local watering hole Papa Ray’s, where he enjoyed a nice cold beer and talking with many friends he made over the years. Mike had a bigger than life personality and you knew when he walked into a room. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors, and fishing was his first passion, he liked hunting especially with his grandson Jaxen, and being with his dogs Bodie, Yeager and Buster. Mike never passed up a chance to get on the ground and wrestle around with his granddaughter Nikayla and grandson Brandt & speeding around on dirt bikes with all three of the grandkids. Mike is survived by his wife of 8 years, Christine Enderes of Montana City; children, Dawn (Justin) Marks, Nick
(Jerika) Enderes both of Helena, and his three grandchildren Nikayla, Jaxen and Brandt; parents, Kent (Pat) Enderes of Bozeman and stepdad Lee Davis of Marion, IA, sister Kelly (Chris) Aiken of Victoria, MN, and brother Jeff (Christina) Enderes of Three Forks, several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine (Walker) Davis, maternal grandparents George and Elise (Swick) Walker, paternal grandparents Melvin and Carleta (Lenhart) Enderes and stepson Adam Peterson.
Even though we will miss Mike’s presence in our everyday lives, we know he’s happy to be reunited with his best buddy, his Grandpa Enderes and his loving mom.
The family of Mike would like to take this time also to thank each and everyone one of you for your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

Mike came into our family when he married my step-daughter Chris. He and Chris flew to Tennessee in May 2019 to accompany me on a trip to Pennsylvania to fulfill my late husband’s last wish to have his ashes buried in his mom’s grave. We share lots of laughs, good food and great company on that trip and I will cherish that memory always. My late husband had a prize rifle that Mike admired, and I made sure that Mike received it. His love of guns was evident, and Chris’ dad wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it. I was so saddened to hear Mike passed. I send my deepest sympathy to everyone who loved him, his family, and especially to Chris. I had hoped they would have many more years together in beautiful Montana.
