I can’t begin to say how sorry we are. Steve was a good friend and always willing to go out of his way to help wherever he could. As members of the New Horizons Band we could always count on Steve for a smile or a joke. We will miss his sunny disposition.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so shocked and saddened by Steve’s passing. Steve was a special friend who I always looked forward to seeing and playing with in the woodwind section for several musical venues, especially the New Horizons Band and the occasional saxophone quintet. He nearly always had a wonderfully positive disposition and outlook and truly loved music, saxophones, and interacting with fellow musicians. Steve will be greatly missed! My sincere condolences go out to all of Steve’s family – may God’s comfort and peace be with you all at this difficult time.

I met Steve through the New Horizon Band two years ago. He was such a delight to sit next to, especially when he teased Nancy. He convinced me at times to add some comments and then we would both be in trouble., I will miss his jokes and sense of humor.
Jennifer Garber says
What a great musician and friend, I am a flute player in the New Hoirzon Band who he frequently told me I enlighted his life and walked away laughing. More recently I worked with him on Client burial accounts in my place a work and he made a very stressful time fun and even made our clients laugh. What a loss for us all. May his family have peace knowing that he is jamming with the musicians in heaven! God Bless!

To Steve’s family,
Seeing Steve regularly at the New Horizons Band activities, we always enjoyed his upbeat personality, his sense of humor and his willingness always to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. We wish you comfort in your own time, in your own way.

Steve and Patty were with us at WesPres during the teenage years of their children. We were blessed by Steve’s musical offerings in our services. I send my condolences to Patty and the family. May God the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit comfort you and fill you with warm memories. We prayed for your peace and comfort at Women of the Word (WOW) this morning. Hugs. Wanda Dziuk

Wendy Williams says
I have never had the pleasure of meeting Steve in person, but oh, the conversations over the phone I have had working with him over the last three years. I know how much he loved his family, music and his old car. I will miss working with him and his way of telling a story. I will always remember calling him…Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better.
Rest In Peace

We extend our sympathy to Patty, Mike, Brian, and Danielle. We loved you family when you were at WesPres and enjoyed watching the kids grow up. Steve was a big supporter of his children’s activities as well as the activities of the church. He will be hole in your family, but with the grace of God, that hole will slowing heal. Steve will remain with you in all the wonderful activities that you did with each other. May you fell especially close to God at this time and always.
