After a lengthy illness, Susan Elizabeth Sedlacek, beloved daughter, and sister passed away on Tuesday, September 12th, 2022. She was 61 years old. Born to Barney G Sedlacek and Carol J Sedlacek in Whitefish Montana. Susan attended the University of Montana and Montana State University. She entered the United States Coast Guard and was stationed in Kodiak Alaska, then Montauk New York, and was a proud veteran.
After the Coast Guard, Susan worked at the United States Post Office in Helena Montana, retiring from there in 2021. Susan is survived by her mother, from Helena Montana, and her brothers Matt Sedlacek of Hollister California, and Mark Sedlacek of San Jose California.
Susan had a deep connection with her cats and enjoyed spoiling them. She was known to be loyal, cheerful, and sincere.
Susan had a strong faith and belief in Jesus Christ. She spent many hours reading and studying the Bible, especially when it came to describing the end times. She enjoyed talking about what she read in the bible with her pastor and friends.
A graveside funeral with military honors will be held at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery – Fort Harrison, 3550 Heroes Rd, Helena West Side, MT 59636, on September 26th at 3 PM.
