Our loving father, grandfather and friend Tommy
D Onstott; just short of his 76th birthday, passed away on July 6,
2013 after an extended illness, surrounded by his family and friends.
Tom was an author of 10 novels including three that were
published. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing
and working on the small family farm.
Tom was born in Beulah, North
Dakota, but was raised in a small mining town north of the Yellowstone park
boarder. Tom worked in and around the mining and construction industries,
highlighted by various company upper management positions.
He is survived by his wife Pat
Onstott, brothers Jerry & Mike Onstott, sister Dorothy O’Hern, sons Randy,
Chuck & Rob Onstott, Daughter-in-laws Sheri, Kim and Linda Onstott,
Grandchildren Colton, Tyler, Jake, Kyle Onstott, Alexsis Sandoval, and Justin
Whitney, Great grandsons Hunter & Blake Whitney.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 PM
at the Liberty Baptist Church, 210 Sierra Rd, Helena (MT) on Saturday July 13th.
In lieu of flowers, the family
would like donations made to Hospice of St Peters, 201 California, Helena, Mt
59601.

Tom and I go back to 1969 when I moved into the Western Region. Great man. We all were about on par as Powdermen ( now called explosive engineers) but none of us could turn a day’s happenings into an interesting story or tale like TD. T Short could never match him on any day.
